'The .44 Magnum' Large frame double action revolver chambered in .44 Magnum. Manufactured in Springfield, MA circa 1973. Features a polished blued finish, pinned 4" heavy barrel with partially serrated wide sighting rib, raised serrated ramp front sight with red insert, adjustable micrometer click rear sight with white outlined square notch, fluted six-shot cylinder with recessed chambers, shrouded ejector rod, case hardened serrated .500 target trigger, case hardened .500" target hammer, three screw square butt N target frame with ten-groove grip straps, and checkered Goncalo Alves target grips with silver S&W medallions. Includes a factory wood presentation case with blue felt lined fitted interior, screwdriver, and cleaning tools. Revolver retains approximately 95% of its original blued finish showing light handling marks, a faint drag line on the cylinder, and small scattered losses. The action is smooth with excellent lock-up, the bore is excellent/bright, and the wood grips are excellent.
